I've been meaning to get pizza from this place on Canada Way for awhile now. They actually catered our school's grade 8 welcoming for 2 years. I really enjoyed dealing with the owners of Viva Sue. They are top-notch people who care about their customers and the quality of their food. So the question to some people would be: "Why should I choose this place over Panago, Little Ceaser's, Domino's or Pizza Hut?" Well, the answer is simple, unlike those chain pizza places (which can be good too), Viva Sue piles on cheese and toppings like there is no tomorrow.
Now, there is an art to this. You can't simply just

pile toppings on a pizza and think it'll be good. Too many toppings will render a pizza soggy. There is just the right combination of sauce, cheese and toppings on their pizzas. It is remarkable they can keep their pizza unsoggy since they also put a generous amount of sauce as well. In my opinion, most chain pizza places skimp on the sauce and their pizza becomes dry as cardboard. Would it kill you to put a bit more sauce on the pizza? Another reason why Viva Sue pizza tastes so good is the fact they use full fat cheese, and lots of it. They are neither shy or cheap when it comes to piling on the cheese. There is so much, you cannot see under it. This is a sharp contrast to Little

Ceaser's, where there is practically no cheese on the pizza.
I know, I know, some people will be turned off by the liberal use of full fat cheese; but stay with me here. We ordered 2 pizzas, the meat pizza for ourselves and a pepperoni pizza for the kids. Our meat pizza had layers upon layers of meat underneath the gooey cheese. Eating one slice was equivalent to eating a sandwich! Thus, you really don't need many slices to satisfy your appetite. Just imagine how many slices you'd need to eat at
Me 'n Ed's to satisfy your hunger? Viv can have more than half a large of a
Me 'n Ed's, while one slice was enough for her from Viva Sue. I've had a lot of pizza in my lifetime and I would have to say Viva Sue is definitely up there.
The Good:- Pizza is really good
- Lots of toppings
- Lots of cheese and sauce
The Bad:- Use of full fat cheese can make it greasy
- With so many toppings, the pizza can be salty

My co-worker was just telling me about how good this place was. I'll have to try it out some day.
