You can check it here:<br /><br />http://www.slate.com/blogs/moneybox/2012/04/16/why_do_restaurants_decline_over_time_.html<br /><br />My bet as to why it has "declined" might not necessary because they actually "declined"; rather, because of external factors such as:<br /><br />a) When they were first opened, it was more "authentic" compared to *cough*Thai House*cough*.<br />b) Nowadays, there are newer offerings (Bob Likes Thai, Thai Basil, et al) that challenges people again with other offerings.<br /><br />Of course, you can say they have actually declined because people demand certain dishes done their way, despite it ain't necessarily the "correct" way.
