You are not the only one who has told me about Peaceful. I've heard really good things about it and I almost went there a few days ago; but alas, no parking due to the Olympic lane! Thanks for reading and yes... I will eat almost anything. They have a more varied menu and I think they are far superior. Only problem is they can be inconsistent. One day the Dan Dan is almost soupy, next day it's almost a paste like sauce. Szechuan beef noodles is tasty and usually fairly spicy but occasionally mild. It's generally good, just different sometimes. Oh and they just went to cash/debit only.

BTW, I discovered your blog during Xmas holidays and have been a devoted follower since. It's amazing that your food preferences seem to fit both my adventurous Asian leanings AND my husband's meat and potatoes tastes... maybe because you'll eat most anything? :)Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13726586524844892540noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1524766856706642380.post-90493014794400957252010-02-08T23:13:10.677-08:002010-02-08T23:13:10.677-08:00You're right Trisha, freshly made noodles have...You're right Trisha, freshly made noodles have that "bite", chewiness, or in Chinese - "dan sing" which is the elasticity or rebound you get from chewing the noodles.

It is indeed inexpensive!Sherman Chanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07658949865479421864noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1524766856706642380.post-57660614388394150662010-02-08T23:01:43.625-08:002010-02-08T23:01:43.625-08:00Cheap eats for International students studying at ...Cheap eats for International students studying at UBC :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1524766856706642380.post-82318316429319523232010-02-08T22:44:56.254-08:002010-02-08T22:44:56.254-08:00mmm... i'm hungry for noodles now. i used to t...mmm... i'm hungry for noodles now. i used to think they were all the same until a friend took me somewhere where they make them fresh (can't remember where it was). the difference is incredible... i never knew noodles could be so good.trishahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09176469834353667484noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1524766856706642380.post-10972473398970446692010-02-08T22:33:32.603-08:002010-02-08T22:33:32.603-08:00Yah, the noodles are great, but everything else is...Yah, the noodles are great, but everything else is not that good. It was oilier then a teen working at McD's (sorry isn't that one of your jokes) and actually quite salty. Noodles were perfect but I dunno if that's worth it to go back..
